The Democratic School closed the 2025–26 academic year with its annual Awards and Achievement Ceremony, an afternoon dedicated to recognising the effort, growth and character our learners have shown throughout the year.
One by one, students stepped forward to receive their medals and certificates in front of teachers, classmates and proud families. At TDS, recognition is never only about marks. Awards celebrated academic accomplishment alongside perseverance, collaboration, creativity and the attributes of the IB learner profile: inquirers, communicators, risk-takers and caring members of our community.
For many families the most memorable moments came after the stage, as parents and children posed together for photographs, sharing a milestone that belongs to the whole family.
We congratulate every learner who was honoured, and we thank our teachers, whose patience and belief made these achievements possible, and our parents, whose partnership makes our school community what it is. Every child heard. Every child respected. Every child responsible.
