In February 2022, the school gathered for a special assembly to honour learners who had achieved success in the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest (IKLC).
Achievers from across the school were called forward to receive their certificates from the school leadership, while classmates looked on and applauded.
Competitions such as IKLC challenge learners to apply their language skills beyond the classroom, under exam conditions and alongside peers from other schools. They build confidence, discipline and a love of language that supports learning across every subject.
Congratulations to all our IKLC champions, and thank you to the language teachers who prepared and encouraged them.
