Connecting the Past to the Present: A Guest Talk on Migration

A captivating session on human journeys supported our PYP unit within Where We Are in Place and Time.

As part of our unit within the theme Where We Are in Place and Time, we welcomed Mr Nasir Dhillon to The Democratic School. He brought the history of migration to life through stories of human journeys, and our learners questioned him in a lively Q&A. Moments like these help students live the IB Learner Profile: inquirers, knowledgeable thinkers and reflective global citizens. In a special Punjabi podcast recorded the same day, he also spoke about building confidence and connecting the younger generation with their mother tongue.
