Music at TDS: from circle rhythms to the violin

Music is taught at TDS by specialists, in dedicated spaces, from the Early Years onwards.
Our youngest learners begin with rhythm, song and movement in circle sessions. Older students learn keyboard, guitar, violin and percussion, and perform repertoire from both Pakistani and international traditions.
Performances happen where the community gathers: assemblies, Student-Led Conferences, showcases and national days.
Music asks children to listen closely, practise patiently and take a risk in front of others. Those habits travel well beyond the music room.
