Learning Beyond the Classroom: PYP Study Trip to Oxygym
Our PYP-I and PYP-V learners took their inquiry on the road with a study trip to Oxygym.

In December 2021, our PYP-I and PYP-V learners set out on a study trip to Oxygym, extending their classroom inquiry into a real-world setting.
Guided by their teachers and the host team, learners explored the facility, observed closely, asked questions and recorded their findings to bring back to class.
Field trips are an integral part of inquiry-based learning in the PYP. They connect ideas from the classroom to the world beyond it, spark new questions and allow children to learn through first-hand experience.
We thank our hosts for their warm welcome and our teachers for organising such a meaningful experience.
