Discipline on the road: a student road-safety campaign

Our learners took a message about safe roads from the classroom to the community.

Action is the final step of every inquiry at TDS: what will we do with what we have learned? After exploring how communities keep people safe, our learners chose road safety. They designed placards, rehearsed their messages and campaigned for a disciplined, careful approach on the road, for drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike. The campaign was small in scale and real in purpose. Children spoke to adults with clarity and courage about something that affects every family in Faisalabad. That is the IB learner profile at its best: principled, caring and ready to act.
