From science centres to a visiting planetarium, our learners meet science and history where they happen.

Educational visits at TDS are planned into units of inquiry. Children go out with their own questions and come back with evidence. Over the years our learners have explored the science centre, interactive museum exhibitions and a visiting planetarium experience by Curiosity EdTech, where whole classes looked up at the night sky together. Standing beside a life-size dinosaur, or watching the planets move overhead, makes a question feel urgent in a way a textbook rarely can. Every visit is followed by reflection and action back in class, so the wonder becomes learning that lasts.
