At a TDS Science Fair, the work on the tables is only half of the story. The other half is the conversation. Learners design and build models that explain an idea: how an ecosystem stays in balance, how water can be cleaned, how a structure carries weight. Then they stand beside their work and explain it to parents, teachers and visitors. Good questions from visitors are part of the learning. Students discover what they really understand when someone asks them “why?”. Science at TDS is something you do, test and explain, not only something you read about.
