Learning to float, learning to trust: swimming at TDS
With our own pool on campus, water confidence is part of growing up at TDS.

TDS has its own swimming pool on campus, and every child has the chance to become confident in the water.
Children begin with floating and breathing before they move on to stroke technique. Water safety is taught explicitly.
Sessions are supervised by trained staff in small groups, so each child moves at their own pace. The smile on the first unaided float says more than any certificate.
In IB terms, this is the learner profile in action: balanced in body and mind, and a risk-taker in the best sense.
