Student voice on stage: TED-Ed talks at TDS

We believe children become confident speakers when they are given real opportunities to speak. Through TED-Ed student talks and our regular assemblies, learners research topics they genuinely care about and present their ideas to an audience of peers, teachers and parents. Some talks are about science, some about fairness, some about a hobby that became a passion. All of them ask the speaker to know their subject, structure an argument and hold a room. Even our youngest learners take the microphone. By the time they reach the MYP, presenting their thinking feels natural, because they have done it many times before.
